While the Raiders wait for key contributors to return from injured reserve, the rest of the roster is in tip top shape for the team’s Week 9 matchup against the Giants. No Raiders are listed as injured on the team’s official Week 9 injury report.
DT Johnathan Hankins and LG John Simpson were both listed as full participants for each of the team’s three practices this past week and don’t carry an injury designation.
The Raiders will continue to be without CBs Trayvon Mullen Jr. and Damon Arnette, though interim head coach Rich Bisaccia said he expects some players to begin ramping up in the coming weeks with a return goal of Week 12’s Thanksgiving game against the Cowboys, but didn’t specify which players.
While the team waits for the return of those two key cornerbacks, Brandon Facyson is likely to continue to see plenty of playing time alongside Casey Hayward Jr. and Nate Hobbs.
TE Darren Waller, who missed the Raiders’ Week 7 win against the Philadelphia Eagles, is not listed on the team’s Week 9 injury report and is expected to play against the Giants. Following the release of WR Henry Ruggs III, Waller may be in line to see an additional workload along with WRs Bryan Edwards, Hunter Renfrow, and Zay Jones.
