The Las Vegas Raiders have signed former UNLV cornerback Robert Jackson Wednesday to their practice squad.
Jackson was originally signed by the Colts in 2018 as an undrafted free agent out of UNLV. Over the past two seasons, he’s spent time with the Houston Texans and Cleveland Browns.
Jackson started in two games for the Browns in 2020, including their wildcard game win against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He allowed 5 catches on 7 targets for 75 yards. He did record 7 total tackles in that game.
Jackson provides a solid option that has a long frame for the Raiders. Although not official, Gus Bradley prefers corners with height on the outsides, so Robert Jackson is likely an option on the outside for the Silver and Black.
