With the Raiders already almost a full week into training camp, news came of Raiders G Denzelle Good’s retirement Monday as the team placed him on the Reserve/Retired List.

Good, 31, has been with the Raiders since 2018, appearing in 36 games for the team. In 2021, Good was a Week 1 starter, but would leave the game and miss the rest of the season due to a torn ACL.

Good originally became a Raider after being waived by the Indianapolis Colts in December of 2018. Good was claimed off waivers by the Raiders and extended the following offseason. Good was extended two more times by the Raiders, once in 2020 on a one-year deal and again in 2021 on a two-year deal. Good had recently agreed to a reworked contract that lowered his 2022 base salary.

Denzelle Good is the second Raiders offensive lineman to have retired this month, following in the footsteps of fellow veteran G Richie Incognito, who announced his retirement on July 15.
