During the first drive of the Raiders Monday Night thriller in Vegas, starting right guard Denzelle Good went down with a knee injury. Good limped off the field for medical assistance sending back up Jermaine Eluemunor into the game.
Tuesday afternoon, Jeremy Fowler confirmed that Denzelle Good had suffered a torn ACL.
Good will miss the remainder of the 2021 season.
After starting 14 games in 2020, Good received a contract extension for his impressive performance. He signed a two-year deal in March worth up to $8.4 million. His injury is a major loss for the offense.
It looks like Jermaine Eluemunor will be the Raiders go-to guy for Week 2 in Pittsburgh.
The Raiders could look to add a guard through free agency, or could call up third year guard Lester Cotton Sr.
