The Raiders players started making their way over to the field for Wednesday’s practice. However, it was canceled last minute.
According to a Raiders Insider, the players were rewarded for their hard work, including their GPS effort numbers, over the past few days.
Coach Gruden clearly appreciates all of the player’s efforts, including the five turnover day the Raider’s defense had the last practice. He gave players the day off from the on-field portion of practice.
Derek Carr, Alec Ingold, and Johnathan Hankins will still hold their pressers for the day, and the rest of the day’s practices will continue on as normal.
The Raiders report back to the field at 7:30 am Thursday, as they get ready for their first preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday.
