Divine Deablo set to return, Passes his Physical

Divine Deablo started his first training camp in the NFL on the physically unable to perform list after having a minor procedure done to his right knee.

However, according to Texans reporter Aaron Wilson, Deablo has passed his physical.

With Deablo passing his physical, the team doctors have medically cleared him and believe he’s in good enough shape that he can play. Deablo should be able to come off the list at any point now and start practicing. If he wasn’t medically cleared, he could have missed up to six regular-season weeks.

Deablo was drafted in the third round by the Las Vegas Raiders. The former Virginia Tech strong safety was converted into a weakside linebacker by the Raiders. He is expected to eventually take over the spot that LB Cory Littleton currently holds.

Deablo was seen a few days ago in the Raider’s August 8th open practice to the fans with a cast around his right leg. He was seen walking with a slight limp, and at one point in the video, even jumped sideways. If he can start practicing soon, it could be a huge help for a Raiders linebacking group that isn’t 100% set in stone.
