I’m extremely excited to announce that the Poker Masters Series 2021 will be returning back to live events!
Last Year
Just one year ago, Poker Masters joined forces with PartyPoker and Poker Central to bring you the 2020 Poker Masters Online.
This was due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 Poker Masters was set to have the biggest field / prize pool in history for the series but that dream was crushed as the virus ran rampant through the country.
Last year, The series took place from April 12-26, 2020 shortly after lockdown went into effect. There were 30 events on the schedule including 25 No-Limit Hold’em and five Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments. Buy-ins ranged from $10,000 to the $50,000 Main Event.
Now that the vaccine has been released, Live Tournament Poker is making a swifty comeback.
Here’s What To Expect
Since the Super High Roller Bowl Europe has concluded, PokerGO just released their schedule for their Poker Masters series. The series is set to take place between September 7th – September 18th. It features 12 different tournaments and 3 different games. A majority of the tournaments will be No-Limit Hold Em, some will be Pot Limit Omaha and there will be 1 mixed game tournament consisting of 8 different games.
All tournaments will be part of the PokerGO Tour with players earning points based on the amount they cash for. The points awarded during the Poker Masters will also decide who wins the Poker Masters Purple Jacket and $50,000 in added prize money.
Structure
All the Poker Masters final tables will be live-streamed exclusively on OTT service PokerGO® from 7 p.m. PST
