For PVZ, his was her second bareknuckle fight, and for Ostovich, it was her debut. Both of them were coming off losses and were hungry to get a win, which resulted in an all out brawl.
At the end of 5 rounds, the judges of fight scored the bout 48-47, 48-47, 49-46 all in favor of Rachael Ostovich. Though Paige VanZant had moments where she looked competent enough to compete against Ostovich; She could not do enough to stop Ostovich. I will rise. I will always rise. Don’t you doubt that even for a secondPaige VanZant – Instagram @paigevanzant
Paige VanZant has not fought 3 times in a year since 2015, So it’s probably safe to say she likely will not return until 2022. Even though this loss was tough, expect to see PVZ back in the ring within the next year.
