Gadzhi Rabadanov (Khabib Nurmagomedov’s protege) scores nasty KO at Bellator 263

During the Bellator 263 prelims Saturday at The Forum, Gadzhi Rabadanov (14-4-2 MMA, 1-0 BMMAS) secured a violent finish of opponent Daniel Carey (7-5 MMA, 3-4 BMMA) in Round 1.

The fight did not last too long. For the three minutes of the first round, Rabadanov showed poise, timing his shots well and landing perfect counters.

With a little over a minute left in the round, Carey threw a lazy leg kick. Ravadanov countered with a left hook. This hook ended Carey’s night and the follow-up shots were damaging. When referee Frank Trigg jumped in, Carey was out.

Bellator officials quickly scrambled to signal for the medical staff as Carey remained unconscious on the ground.

The staff quickly realized they needed a stretcher. As the medical team was getting ready to get Carey onto the stretcher, UFC Lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov assisted the medical staff as they applied the neck brace and loaded Carey onto the Stretcher.

With the finish, Rabadanov earns the eleventh finish of his career and his eighth victory in the last nine fights. So whats next for Gadzhi Rabadanov?
