UFC legends Anderson Silva and Tito Ortiz will meet in Boxing match

Former UFC champions Anderson Silva and Tito Ortiz will meet at a Triller Fight Club event on September 11.

Silva has agreed to a Pay per view event and will take on Ortiz in a 195-pound boxing bout. The fight will be at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be eight action-packed rounds.

The event was reported by MMA Fighting and confirmed recently by Triller co-founder Ryan Kavanaugh.

The fight will be an undercard for the Triller Fight Club event headlined by boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya vs. former UFC champion Vitor Belfort.

“I am very excited to have the opportunity, along with my team, to get in the ring against Tito Ortiz on September 11 with Triller Fight Club, who are really shaking things up in the combat sports world,” Silva said.

Silva has a boxing record of 2-1, and Ortiz will be making his boxing debut. Ortiz last fought in the UFC almost ten years ago.
