After much anticipation, Adidas released the second edition of their reverse retro sweaters, including the updated Golden Knights version. For those who may not remember, Adidas did the same thing early into the 2021-22 season.

On the first edition, reactions amongst fans were mixed, though most agreed that the Golden Knights sweater was rather disappointing. Adidas seems to have heard those criticisms, as the new Golden Knights reverse retro threads have generated plenty more positive reviews this time around.

For those who have yet to see, these new sweaters are black with gold and red trim. They do not have a logo, but instead say Vegas across the front in white lettering, bordered by more gold trim. By no means are they the flashiest jersey of the bunch, but it is a nice, easy design. With that said, that isn’t what makes these jerseys so fascinating.

The coolest feature of this jersey is the fact that it glows in the dark. The white lettering on the front changes to a glowing blue, while the gold and red trim also lights up. The hope is that plenty of fans choose to buy these jerseys, as they would look phenomenal amongst the crowd in a dark arena prior to puck drop.

For any hoping to get their hands on a Golden Knights reverse retro sweater, they will become available for purchase on Nov. 15 on adidas.com, adidas.ca, NHLShop.com, NHLShop.ca, as well as local team stores. Adidas says prices will range from $190-240 USD.
